Get healthy!

We have tried a few things at work to promote resolutions and healthy life styles, but nothing has stuck. First we tried sharing goals. Later, to make us more accountable, we kept a chart and included a prize that we would all chip in on. We soon fell off the track with both. IDEAS?cookies

Every year the county in which we live holds a winter aerobics challenge and we all motivate each other to sign up for this. So, I think that group challenges can be motivating but I think that serious weight loss would have to come from within one's self. I personally am trying to motivate myself and get serious about losing the weight I had gained from my pregnancy, but, like I said, I'm still trying.

I have no room for talking here, but if everyone pitched in and maybe at least once a week, you each brought in a low-fat dish or dessert for lunch to share with everyone [pot luck], it would promote healthy living at work. Plus, it would encourage everyone to be more aware of their choices and bring in healthier food for lunch more often.
