This was by far the easiest exercise to do. It is awesome. Now I have an additional storage place for my photos, in case something happens to my computer, this will be a great backup.

This was easy to do. It'll be nice to have all my photos in a place other than on my computer. I lost many photos when my home computer crashed. I sure wish I would have had a photo sharing account.

Flickr is another tool I have been introduced to in the past. I set up a new account using our library as a new "person." So far, I just uploaded a picture of our front doors. I'm not sure how safe Flickr will be for posting pics of kids. We have to get waivers and photo releases signed in order to post pics and slide shows of kids. I'm going to look around at other libraries to get an idea of other projects.
I used Picasa to create a collage and a slide show just recently. I like it; it's easy to use once you get used to the organization.
Right now, I use Snapfish to share pictures with my family, but might consider Flickr as a backup for all of my digital images.

I use Flickr a lot as a file-hosting service for photos on my blog or to share photos with others. There is an upper limit to the number of pictures you can post with the free service. If you opt for the paid service, you get more options-- unlimited uploads and more sorting options-- as well as the use of the "stats" feature, which let you track how many people view your pictures. So far, everyone is curious about my pens and dentistry. I also take a fair amount of macro shots.

I created a Flickr account (http://www.flickr.com/photos/mgierlac/) and profile with buddy icon, and downloaded some photos.
I think I will use Flickr a lot, as I don't have an external hard drive to back up the photos on my computer.
