Google Reader was so easy to use!
I subscribed to news feeds from imdb.com (Internet Movie Database), mlb.com (Major League Baseball), and the Washington Post, and instantly received news updates from all three sites. I really like Google Reader, it's very useful to keep track of updates on all the sites you love, without using up all the time.

Recently I was told I would have no interest in RSS! Well now I do and to find out it means "Really Simple Syndication" makes it even better learning about RSS. I need some practice, but this will be a smooth use for information gathering.

About a year ago, I set up a reader using Blogines. It was for a class at the UA. I totally loved this class and everything I learned; I actually discovered some interesting blogs authored by librarians. Today, when I went back to see all of the feeds I'd missed, I had close to 1,000. Yikes! I marked all as "read" and began working with Google Reader.
