I now have another email account - gmail. It will be interesting to see how it works differently from my other email accounts.
I already had an iGoogle page, but haven't used tools to set bacground images and more than a few gadgets. Hope to get back to this soon.

I still haven't migrated my old e-mail account to G-mail. Old habits are hard to break. I use the search engine almost daily. I have used Google Maps to navigate and to find locations for Genealogy patrons. From time to time, Google Street View will show what cemeteries look like and sometimes go inside the cemetery if it is paved. However, "Tomb-cam" is not quite with us yet, as my coworker has noted. I tend not to use some of Google's other functions-- like Google Reader, and Google Desktop, because I don't want Google-everything. I tend to use Firefox more than Chrome, also. I have not explored the possibilities of either browser.

A co-worker showed me IGoogle a few months ago. I love it. I also switched to gmail and can have all my email from my previous email account forward to my gmail account.

I did it. I like the choice of themes for my page and that it is easy to add or delete gadgets. There seems to be something for everyone: from calendars to news to games. The ever present adds are annoying.

I've always liked Google. This was my first time signing up for a G-Mail account, and I was so pleased with how easy and efficient it was to do. The sign-up page doesn't bombarde you with too-personal questions and verifications.
I really enjoyed creating and playing with a personal IGoogle page. The literary quote-of-the-day feature is really fun, and also very useful as a librarian; it gives such a variety of writers, a lot I hadn't heard of, which can help tremendously in finding new authors to collect. The calendar is also very helpful.
