Why I joined the Baker's Dozen learning program: I joined so that I can learn more about these web tools.
What I want to get out of the program: At least one thing I can actually use.
Where I work (include library name and city): Martha Cooper Branch of the Pia County Public Library, Tucson.
What I do for my library: I am in charge ot Teen and Adult services.
Favorite book or author: I love Sherman Alexie, Lousie Erdrich, Luis Alberto Urrea, Bill Bryson. Currently I have been reading books about Central Asia and the Near East that are connected by each successive book being mentioned in the previous book.
What else you should know about me: I like beading, kniting, crocheting, quilting, cooking, reading. I once studied math and engineering in a different life (in fact I was a student in Seattle School District's first high school computer programming class - remember FORTRAN?, so that dates me.), but ended up with a degree in Spanish literature.
