I joined Baker's Dozen because I got to do it at a fair! And I had time to kill before going to work. And it will teach me useful skills ^_^
What I want to get out of the program: Skill recognition.
Where I work (include library name and city): I'm a librarian substitute in Tucson, working for Pima County Public Library. Mostly I work at Main and the Murphy-Wilmot Branch.
What I do for my library: Mostly I work the reference desk, but I've also weeded, done displays and marketing, and done a few teen programs. Occasionally I find myself involved in outreach somehow.
Favorite book or author: How can I choose just one? I will read anything by Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Chuck Palahniuk, Ursula K. LeGuin, and others I can't think of off the top of my head.
What else you should know about me: "Should" is such a relative term...
