Why I joined the Baker's Dozen learning program: To learn more about Web 2.0 and because anything the Virtual Library is doing is fun!
What I want to get out of the program: Be more comfortable and aware of the technologies. Fun and a gmail account.
Where I work (include library name and city): Pima County Public Library, Main Library, Tucson.
What I do for my library: Reference Librarian, manage the Grants & Nonprofit Information Center (a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center).
Favorite book or author: Lately it's Michael Chabon, Arthur Conan Doyle, Michael Pollan.
What else you should know about me: I have been dancing Argentine Tango for 9 years and for the last 4 years I practice Qigong everyday. I work for the public library because I strongly believe in intellectual freedom and the 1st amendment.
