Why I joined the Baker's Dozen learning program: I always participate in trainings because it will make me a better employee. This program looks to be a fun and interactive learning experience, and I want to play and learn more about the new and emerging Web 2.0 technologies.
What I want to get out of the program: I want to become familiar with a variety of Web 2.0 tools and websites and how they are used so that I can be prepared to help my customers (users and non-users alike).

What I do for my library: I am a Library Associate. I do a little bit of everything here. We are the essential "one desk" library.
Favorite book or author: One of my favorites is Bless Me Ultima by Rudolfo Anaya.
What else you should know about me: I love my job! I have also been a substitute teacher and tutor for 7 years (K-12).
