Why I joined the Baker's Dozen learning program: I joined because I am determined to prove that even a neanderthal like myself can do this!

Favorite book or author: Geez, that is a hard question! I love mysteries best and have many favorites like JA Jance and Janet Evanovich. I loved Julie on Julia (about cooking all of the recipes in the famous Julia Child French Cookbook) - who could be so crazy!?!) I just finished a couple science fiction books - they were pretty weird. The Sparrow and Children of God by Mary Doria Russell. I love to listen to books while I do my morning walks.
What else you should know about me: My husband lives in South Dakota and is about to retire from 20 years as a County Commissioner. He also repairs antique clocks, wrote a book about Dakota photographers (before 1920) and generally is an antique dealer who is coming to live in Arizona in January...
