Please tell us about yourself...

Why I joined the Baker's Dozen learning program: It aroused my curiosity.

What I want to get out of the program: I'd love to pick up new skills regarding things that I'm already doing, and learn to do things I'm not.

Where I work (include library name and city): Main Library, Pima County Public Library, Tucson AZ.

What I do for my library: Anything I can get my hands on.

Favorite book or author: I have a great many, but Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder comes to mind. (Sophie learned the value of curiosity, and of always maintaining a sense of wonder.)

What else you should know about me: That depends upon who's asking...

It was extremely intuitive and simple to set up this wiki. Often I prefer to jump in and just 'do stuff' when learning, hence I'm not always great about following written instructions when I'm excited about trying new things.

After I'd set the wiki up, I looked at the instructions, and I see that they would have been very easy to follow, had I been so inclined. I'll post a profile picture later, form my home PC.
